BLUETECTOR® wins international design award

For many years, the industry has been using design performance as a competitive factor and distinguishing feature. What has been standard practice in the consumer goods, mobility or electrical engineering sectors for a long time, is also becoming more and more common among manufacturers in the technical sectors. HEINKEL keeps its finger on the pulse by focusing not only on the development of constructive innovations, but also on design as a success factor. We are therefore very pleased to have received an award for our new BLUETECTOR® Peeler Centrifuge at the Baden-Württemberg International Design Award.

This award shows that we at HEINKEL have succeeded in integrating professional design consequently into the product development process – a challenge that continues to become more important in times of oversaturated markets. Design is used as an innovation driver and driving force in many industries worldwide.

THE AWARD
The International Design Award Baden-Württemberg, known as “Focus Open”, is one of the most renowned German design competitions with an international focus, awarded annually by the state of Baden-Württemberg.

A few days ago, the jury had made its decision: from all the applications, a total of 43 products were awarded. The BLUETECTOR® received the “Special Mention”, representing a valuable confirmation of the quality of our product development in international comparison. We are very pleased about this award, which also confirms the excellent work of all those involved. It also shows that we have been successful with our new development not only in terms of maximum functionality, but also aesthetics and design.

All award-winning products will be presented in an exhibition at the “Haus der Wirtschaft” in Stuttgart from mid-November. The award ceremony will be held in November by the State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism, Dr Patrick Rapp, and the District President Susanne Bay.
